It is the only Ayutthaya palace ground rebuilt into a working museum, so a visitor gets a genuine former royal residence (King Naresuan's original palace site, later rebuilt for King Rama IV) alongside its own Buddhist art, bronze Buddha images, gold ornaments and royal furnishings in one stop.
