Terms of use

GoNow publishes information about places to visit in Thailand, Singapore and nearby. Each fact we publish carries the source we read it from, how strongly it is verified, and the date it was checked.

Some facts are marked as not verified. Those are shown as blank on purpose. A blank price does not mean a place is free, and a blank age limit does not mean everyone is welcome. It means we have not confirmed it.

We check what we publish and we date it. We do not guarantee it is correct or current.

Places change without telling anyone. Prices rise, opening hours move, venues close. A fact checked in July may be wrong in September, which is exactly why every fact shows its checked date rather than being presented as timeless.

You are responsible for confirming anything that matters to you before you travel, especially opening hours, entry prices, age or height restrictions, and whether a venue is still open. Where we could not verify something, we say so, and that is a signal to check rather than an invitation to assume.

GoNow provides information. We do not operate, own, inspect or endorse any venue listed, and we are not a travel agent or tour operator.

We are not responsible for:

• what happens to you at, or on the way to, any venue you find through GoNow
• a venue being closed, more expensive, or different from what we published
• decisions you make based on our information, verified or otherwise
• the content, availability or conduct of any third party site we link to, including operator sites and booking pages
• any loss, injury, cost or inconvenience arising from your use of the service

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GoNow and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you actually paid us in the twelve months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) fifty Singapore dollars.

Because GoNow currently charges nothing, that amount is currently the floor figure. This limit applies regardless of the form of the claim, whether in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability or otherwise, and applies even if we were advised that such damages were possible.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless GoNow, its operator, and anyone acting on its behalf, from and against any claims, demands, actions, liabilities, losses, damages, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or connected with:

• your use of the service or of any information obtained through it
• your visit to, conduct at, or transaction with any venue or third party discovered through the service
• your breach of these terms
• your infringement of any law or of any right of a third party
• any content you submit to the service, including any claim that it is inaccurate, misleading, infringing or unlawful

This obligation survives termination of your use of the service.

If you submit a place, a correction, a visit note, or any other content, you confirm you have the right to submit it and you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, publish, adapt and verify it as part of the dataset.

Submissions are not published automatically. They enter a review queue and are checked against sources before appearing, because publishing unverified claims would defeat the purpose of the service.

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict of law principles. You and we submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore for any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the service.

Singapore is chosen because that is where the operator is based. If you use the service from elsewhere, you may have consumer rights under your local law that cannot be contracted away, and nothing here removes those rights.

We may update this page. If a change materially affects your rights we will note the change and its date at the top rather than changing it silently.
