Commonly described as the last surviving brazen palace (metal castle) in the world, a maze of monk meditation cells crowned by 37 metal spires. Visitors can climb inside to a rooftop terrace with views over old Bangkok, and it draws far thinner crowds than the nearby Grand Palace.
