Every evening a vast colony of wrinkle-lipped bats pours out of a limestone cave behind a working temple in a continuous ribbon that lasts roughly 45 minutes, and you watch it from the open temple grounds. It is a fixed natural event rather than a scheduled tour, so the whole skill is timing your arrival for late afternoon and looking up. That makes it a genuine off-app experience with nothing to pre-book, well outside the usual Bangkok day-trip circuit.
