A tidal mudflat sandbar at the mouth of the Mae Klong River, famous for razor clams (hoi lot) and fringing mangroves. At low tide Thai families wade out onto the exposed flats to dig for shellfish and then eat fresh seafood at the waterfront stalls. It is a Ramsar-listed wetland and a local weekend outing that foreign tourists almost never reach.
